Set high above the coastline in Redhead with sweeping views across its famous beach, this custom-designed and built home by SNL Building demonstrates how considered window and door selection can elevate both performance and liveability. Featuring windows and doors from Fin’s Architectural range, the home balances refined coastal style with advanced glazing and long-term comfort.

The main living area upstairs is defined by high raked ceilings and custom-made fixed windows designed to align precisely with the roof pitch. These large-format windows maximise daylight and views while the double-glazed construction helps regulate internal temperatures, reducing heat gain in summer and improving thermal comfort year-round. Sliding doors open onto the balcony, allowing sea breezes to flow through the home while maintaining excellent acoustic and weather performance.

Across both levels, a combination of fixed windows, sliding windows and doors, and double-hung windows has been carefully selected to optimise ventilation, energy efficiency and ease of use. The inclusion of a hinged door in the laundry adds functional access without compromising the home’s clean architectural lines.

All windows and doors are double-glazed and finished in Pearl White, enhancing the bright, modern aesthetic while delivering improved insulation, reduced noise and greater energy efficiency. The result is a coastal residence that not only looks effortlessly light and contemporary, but also performs exceptionally well in its exposed seaside environment.
